Wrist Joint Pain – The Options

It is possible to get arthritis in the wrist joint.  Wrist arthritis is part of hand arthritis.  Any part of the hand that suffers inflammation of the joints means it is very difficult to use the hand for even simple tasks.  The pain from arthritis can be so severe that many sufferers welcome surgery to ease the wrist joint pain.

There is a non surgical method that can be used to ease wrist joint pain.  These would consist of splinting, medications and injections.  Other treatments that do not need surgery are acupuncture, herbs and massage.  These all fall into the category of alternative treatments.
