Fibromyalgia…What Is It?

Fibromyalgia…What Is It?

Fibromyalgia…What is it? What’s the difference between chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia? Fibromyalgia is a diagnosis for muscle and joint aches and pains….Is it a real diagnosis?

Jennifer is a guest at the Hotze Health & Wellness Center, but before was seeing a regular doctor. She experienced symptoms like brain fog, fatigue, weight gain and the doctor essentially told her that it’s part of her age and something that she would simply have to live with. She listened to her doctor, continued to live her life as is, but as she entered her 30s, she learned that her endurance when she exercised depleted significantly, among other things. Her symptoms were getting worse and worse, and new symptoms were beginning to appear – muscle weakness, migraine headaches, cramping from menstrual cycles and more. Only 34 years old, she was becoming a truly sick woman and her health began affecting her career and personal life negatively. In the end, her doctor ultimately concluded that she was suffering from depression and began prescribing her antidepressants. When she reached out for second and third opinions, all diagnoses were the same and somehow winded back up to antidepressants or some sort of prescription drug. However, Jennifer decided to take charge of her own health and do a 180. What did she do? She found her way to the Hotze Health & Wellness Center. After finding out her hormone levels were imbalanced and she was suffering from hypothyroidism, the team at the Hotze Health & Wellness Center got her on natural, healthy program to start. And what happened next? Tune in to today’s show to learn more about the night and day difference Jennifer experienced after taking charge of her health, naturally.
